Fingers crossed Emily’s teething journey is nearly over. My poor child, she’s really suffered. As her molars claw their way through her swollen red gums, Emily Just doesn’t know what to do with herself. Her diet has radically changed, she’s not that interested in most foods beyond sausages, pesto pasta, fish fingers and ham, oh and the obvious milk lollies and ice cream to soothe her.
Because of this, I’m taking on teething with delicious ways to soothe those pains with less sugar that’s found in her milk lollies and ice cream. Plus she gets the added vitamins she’s currently missing out with her little interest in fruit at the moment.
Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooling: 4-5 hours
- 150g ripe strawberries
- 150g raspberries
- 100ml natural yoghurt
- 1tsp Honey
Whizz the berries, yoghurt and honey in a blender or food processor. Add more honey if you need to.
Divide the mixture between 4 ice lolly moulds, put lolly sticks in each and put in the freezer for 4-5 hours or until solid.
